Athletes often wonder, “Why is my coach being so hard on me?”
It’s because coaches realize they not only prepare their athletes to win competitions in the short-term but they also have the awesome privilege and responsibility to teach their athletes the skills necessary to compete and win in the Game of Life. THIS IS WHY… explains the “motivation behind the madness” for why coaches push their players so hard to become great athletes and, more importantly, successful people.
THIS IS WHY…
I COACH YOU
because I care about you.
I CHALLENGE YOU
because I believe in you.
I EXPECT YOUR COMMITMENT
because I know your family and job will.
I HOLD YOU ACCOUNTABLE
because life will hold you accountable.
I PUSH YOU OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
because it’s the only place where real growth occurs.
I WANT YOU DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME
because life doesn’t always give second chances.
I ASK YOU TO SACRIFICE FOR THE TEAM
because true success means being a part of something far greater than yourself.
I IMPLORE YOU TO GIVE YOUR BEST
because I don’t want you to look back on this season, your career, or life with regrets.
I DEVELOP YOU TO LEAD
because your company, community, and country will eventually need you to.
I DISCIPLINE YOU
because I want you to learn there’s a right way and wrong way to do things and treat people.
I CHALLENGE YOU TO COMPETE
because you’ll fight some battles in your life where losing is just not an option.
I INSIST YOU PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL
because you’ll soon realize that the little things are the BIG things.
I PUT YOU THROUGH ADVERSITY
because you’ll need the persistence to overcome far greater adversities in your life.
I MAKE YOU EARN A SPOT
because you’ll take more pride in and ownership of the things you work hard for and earn.
I INSIST YOU DO THE RIGHT THING
because I want you to look in the mirror and be proud of who you are and what you stand for.
I REQUIRE YOU TO REPRESENT YOURSELF WITH CLASS
because you’ll carry your reputation with you for the rest of your life.
I FORCE YOU TO FACE YOUR FEARS
because breaking through your fears gives you the confidence to take on any challenge life throws at you.
I DO EVERYTHING I DO
because I want you to become the absolute best version of yourself and develop into the responsible and respected adult your family, friends, coworkers, community, and the world all need you to be.
THIS IS WHY

BENEFITS OF FUTSAL FOR SOCCER
Futsal compresses soccer’s essential skills into a small box; it places players inside the deep practice zone, making and correcting errors, constantly generating solutions to vivid problems. Players touching the ball 600 percent more often learn far faster, without realizing it, than they would in the vast, bouncy expanse of the outdoor and indoor soccer (TURF) game.
Futsal promotes better technique and develops soccer skills more rapidly and better than any other type of indoor soccer for both offensive and defensive skills training. One reason lies in the math. Futsal players touch the ball far more often than soccer players—six times more often per minute, according to a Liverpool University study. The smaller, heavier ball demands and rewards more precise handling—as coaches point out, you can’t get out of a tight spot simply by booting the ball downfield.
The benefits of futsal include:
• improves players decision making skills
• provides players with more touches on the ball
• the heavier ball increases the power of players
• it develops the confidence in players to go 1v1 against their opponent
• it allows players to be creative in getting around their opposition
• it improves reaction time
If you want to stay fit, continue to work seriously and hard on your soccer skills and have an advantage over the rest of the competition going into the 2019 soccer season, make sure you put in the extra work over the off season AND FOR THIS, as the greatest in the sport of soccer say, THERE IS NO BETTER WAY TO IMPROVE SOCCER SKILLS THAN TO PLAY FUTSAL.

WHY PLAY FUTSAL
Futsal is FIFA’s official indoor soccer game which is, essentially, a scaled down version of outdoor soccer played indoors. It is a small sided game (5v5) played on a smaller field (roughly basketball court sized) with a smaller sized ball. Futsal is played with touchline boundaries.
• Futsal requires the same basic skills, tactics, and knowledge of the game as the 11 v 11 outdoor game.
• Compared to indoor arena soccer, players touch the ball 210% more often.
• Ball control is encouraged and required due to limited space, out of bounds and constant opponent pressure.
• Players learn to move off the ball and make supporting runs when their teammates have the ball, forcing players to continue with the play, instead of stopping and watching.
• IT’S FUN!! Players enjoy the challenge of playing a fast-paced-fun-skilled-oriented game that test their abilities
